Today marks the 29th anniversary of the murder of journalist José Luis Cabezas. On January 25, 1997, he was shot dead by hitmen hired by billionaire Alfredo Yabrán, a year after the journalist had taken his first photo, which became the cover of the Noticias magazine. This Sunday, family, friends, and colleagues are gathering at various points to commemorate the brutal assassination, which became a symbol of freedom of expression. The first tribute took place at 11 a.m. at the monument located in front of the Pinamar Bus Terminal. Later, at 7 p.m., there will be a mobilization in the cave of General Madariaga, at kilometer 385 of Route 11, about five kilometers inland.
